The second SMILE Action plenary meeting took place in Budapest, Hungary on March 2018. Beyond the analysis of the progress made the previous months, a visit to the Hungarian – Romanian border checkpoint at Nadlak was held, where one of the project pilots will be realised. This field visit was extremely productive to understand the workflow of the border crossing and the requirements of the border guards.
