In April 2018 the SMILE Action reached a milestone with the technical partners visiting the Bulgaria-Romania border at the Ruse border checkpoint. The Regional Director of the Border Police presented their main tasks at the land borders, the challenges they face and concluded with suggestions and recommendations to address these challenges. Undoubtedly a valuable piece of information for our user requirements specifications.
