SMILE participates at 2019 Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition

On June 16, 2019, CERTH’s researchers presented the work done concerning the soft biometrics and their real-time implementation on low power devices while giving a detailed description of the overall concept and technical approach of the project. The soft biometrics module held the attention of the attendees as it can be used as an identification accuracy booster when used complementary to primary biometric traits.
CVPR Conference is the largest gathering of professionals from across the world and from every aspect of the computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence industry attracting people for academia and research fields thus making it an ideal place to disseminate SMILE’s results.
