On April 10th 2019, the SMILE Action has commenced the test pilot deployment at Border policing Department, National University of Public services, Budapest, Hungary. In this first deployment, the SMILE Action technical partners and end-users will have the opportunity to run a basic scenario which includes user enrolment and travel pre-registration, risk assessment, traveller verification, and statistics generation. The purpose of this iterative hands-on integration and testing is to solve any misconfigurations, improve the functionality of software and hardware components prior to the actual pilot testing.
