SMILE’s H2020 Action technical partners and end-users have just started the 2nd test pilot deployment at Border policing Department, National University of Public services, Budapest, Hungary. The purpose of this hands-on lab testing is to examine the operation of the SMILE system as a whole and fine-tune the individual components before the actual pilot testing. During the two days that the test lasted, the partners installed all hardware/software components and ran a tentative integrated system testing. The SMILE end-users contributed to the whole process with their feedback and insights on the operational aspects of the deployment.
